[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Thumbnails not loading in IE

I have a slight issue with thumbnails not showing in the gallery overview in any version of Internet Explorer, but all other browsers are working fine. The album overview thumbnail does show in IE, but when clicked the gallery thumbnails will not load. I know this is not an issue with the this plugin and something on my end.

My question is; what can keep the gallery thumbnails from loading in IE when they load in all other web browsers.

I have turned off the cache since I have read that this may cause some conflict with IE browsers.

I would appreciate any input. I need to keep the little hair left on my head.
