Error AFTER installing theme

    I installed WP in a folder of its own, put the .htaccess and index.php in the root – and It worked fine. Then I installed a Theme and everything is a mess – all I can get is this message:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STATIC, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or ‘}’ in /homepages/22/d287356847/htdocs/likeasat/wordpress/wp-content/themes/platformpro/sections/nav/section.nav.php on line 13

    I have used this theme before (the same version) so I guess that’s not the problem? I am going berserk, please please 😉

    Sounds like the theme is at fault here.
    Try switching to the TwentyTen theme and see what happens. If it’s resolved then your theme has an error in it.

    You might need to get a fresh copy of it.

    Thank you Christine, it didn’t work…so I will make a new install 😉
