WYSIWYG weirdness

    HI,

    Noticed that in WP 3.1 the editor keeps about an inch of whitespace on the right hand side. Its just annoying more than anything else. Anyone else seeing this issue? Does anyone know the fix?

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.

    Thanks Esme but Its a fresh clean install today (from a one click provider hence its 3.1 not 3.1.1 !)

    So twentyten theme and no plugins…

    Try upgrading to 3.1.1. My guess is that you might have a corrupt file somewhere.

    twenty ten uses a editor-style.css file to modify the editor to appear as the posts would on the front end…

    Could that be what you are seeing?
