I must say…!

So I’ve tried the three most widely used CMS’s out there. Joomla, Drupal and now WordPress 3.1. I thought Joomla was pretty nice, but a little too bloated for my use. Drupal was looking alright, and I thought it was exactly what I needed, but creating a custom theme was pretty complicated (coming from a designers point of view). It was a pretty rigid learn curve.

WordPress, by far, has been the best as far as flexibility. I haven’t gone all that far in to the theming of it yet, but I can already tell it’s gonna be bitchen. Not to mention that there are tons of resources out there in case I had any questions. Namely, this here forum.

I’m actually excited to dive deeper in to this. And I’ve always wanted to learn PHP and this might be the tiny step I need to become more familiar with it’s structure and syntax.
