• Installed WP 3.1. Did the site. Everything works fine.

    Well, not everything.

I worked in a directory called “Staging” before pushing live. I then pointed the WP Address and Site Address to the root of my domain when it was time to launch the site. This is done within WP in General settings. I then manually moved all the folders and PHP files to the root.

But for some reason, WP re-creates two folders in the root directory and puts the WP-Content, etc. in there.

I want all WP files in:
    ./(root)

    I get:
    ./test/staging/(wp-content, etc.)

Anybody else have this happen to them where WP “creates” directories?

    Thanks for any help.
