Unregistered users comments for authorization?

    Find the checkbox that says 

    Before a comment appears An administrator must always approve the comment
Comment author must have a previously approved comment

    Check the one that applies and BAM, no registration or previously approved comments? Always held in moderation.

    I would like that registered users can comment without authorization. I need authorization just for unregistered users.

    Your best bet is to have them previously had an approved comment, not sure if there is a way to “auto approve” people who register.
