[Plugin: Magic Fields] Multi-line editor upload bug in Internet Explorer

I have a client who is frequently uploading PDFs to display in an unordered list, one on each line, like this:

• Name of PDF
• Name of PDF
• Name of PDF
• Name of PDF

In Internet Explorer (she’s using 7, but I have verified it in 8 and 9 as well), when uploads a new file using the media uploader, it *always* places the link at the top of the list, no matter where her cursor was. (By contrast, if you insert your cursor on a new line in any other browser – FF, Chrome, etc. – it inserts the link wherever your cursor is.)

Site is running WP3.1/MF 1.5.4.

Any suggestions for a fix?
