Highlighted Menu!

Hi!

I have a horizontal navigation on my new website. To make it very eazy for the visitor, I thought it would be a good idea to highlight, or in some other way mark the page that is currently viewed.
Like in this themes:

And I’ve been trying over and over again to get it work but for some reason it wont work for me.

So now I really need help to get it work.
