try regenerating your htaccess file ( save the permalink structure in admin), and make sure htaccess file has write permissions..
To be honest I’m not sure how to do that… I’m new with wordpress – how do I regenerate my htaccess file?
Also if it means anything, everything works fine as long as the permalink is in the default setting… but I am just wanting to use the %postname%
use /%postname%
and send me your email so I can send you the htaccess..

I just found the htaccess file — what do I need to do with it to make it work? I tried to change the permissions, but nothing enabled me to be able to leave a comment on a post or visit the permalink.
After playing around with the .htaccess file I have gotten it to where if I click on the comment or the post title in the blog it will essentially just refresh the page — not sure how or why. It would definitely be nice to be able to have clients leave comments though, so I would definitely appreciate any more help you guys can give on how to make this work.

just place that .htaccess file in your wordpress folder ( in your case, it is /blog ), and the url’s should work
That’s actually right where I found it… so I’m not sure what else to do with it. I’ve changed the permissions and all that.
For some reason, when I set my permalinks to default, the comments work totally fine — but if I do anything other than “default” it won’t work.
