    I have corrupt links within Categories. Example: My site is bobvine.gen.nz with redirection from my Word Press bobvine.gen.nz/Blog I get this when attempting to link from uncategorised in the righthand panel:
    Requested URL http://bobvine.gen.nz:80/Blog/category/uncategorized
    Physical Path C:\Data\Websites\bobvine.gen.nz\www\Blog\category\uncategorized
    Logon Method Anonymous
    Logon User Anonymous
    Failed Request Tracing Log Directory C:\inetpub\logs\FailedReqLogFiles
    This error type is also denying completion of an addition of a Category in which case I get the Pending status.
    One possibility is that the corruption is caused by the :80 in the requested url. If that is the case how would I correct the url.
    Your assistance would be very much appreciated.

    Try resetting your custom permalinks back to the default setting. If this works, then review Using_Permalinks before setting a custom permalink structure back up again.
