Create tabled homepage

I am curious as to how to go about this. I am trying to make a homepage where it shows the blog posts’ Titles but not one under another, instead have 2 maybe even 3 next to eachother, then next row. so it would look like:

blog post1 | Blog post 2 | blog post 3

blog post 4 | blog post 5 | blog post 6

It anyone can help me figure this out, would be the best. So far, I have it so it only shows the title and the featured image, but it still goes under one another. Don’t know which code to edit to try to make it do what I want.
