[Plugin: Easyfileshop] Can't limit downloads

I have installed the Easyfileshop plugin and it seems to work great, except it does not update the “downloads” field in mysql when the lin in the email is clicked. So, the user can download unlimited times AND I cannot see how many times they have downloaded it.
