Adding short codes for additional layouts

    I have short codes from my theme developer to add additional layout options to my theme, but I don’t know what to do with them. I’m new to creating my own site so I need specific step by step instructions. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    have you asked your theme developer?

    this is not standard in wordpress, so the only one really to give you instructions is the developer.

    shortcodes are generally added while writing or editing the content of a post or page.
