Font and Shortcode issue!

Hey guys, so I installed a theme, and when I try to use the preset shortcodes, all the header text comes out in caps.

So I went into the stylesheet and tried to remove all the textransform:uppercase thingy’s….. However, neither the page headings nor the shortcode headings are coming out in lowercase like I want them to, and they are unreadable in all caps.

Could someone help me by telling me what I should look for? Since the changes to the stylesheet are not taking effect, im guessing there’s something complicated going on here.
