• I’m trying to put banner code provided by an advertiser network into my blog, anywhere would be OK, but assumed into the body of a post would be easiest to get started. I copy the code from the “get code” window provided by the the advertiser network, select all, copy, then paste into the end of body of the post in html view. It does not show in image view, and when I click on view changes it doesn’t appear to be there.
Support says the links are working, when I click on the other links they gave it goes to the site. so I must be doing something wrong putting in the code. I have tried a couple of different ads on a couple of different blogs, but same result.

can someone help me figure out what I’m doing wrong?

This should be the url to the pastebin post with codes from several ads I’m trying to use.

    Thanks.

I also notice that there seem to be codes in some of the posts for things like amazon widgets that don’t seem to be showing up on the view mode.
And I also don’t seem to find adsense showing up in view mode.
(the post contents are being loaded automatically)
    could it all be related?

I’ve tried pasting in several more banner codes into posts, with the same results still. It’s as if it’s not there when I switch to view mode.

    Thanks,

When I use the code for text only link for the same advertiser it works fine.

    that’s fairly normal code
it should insert into a post in the html editor – however, don’t switch back and forth between visual and html editors when posting

So if it’s not the code, something else must be causing the problem. Four blog sites, all having the same problem. I started looking through posts on one of the blogs, and noticed many posts with code that seemed to be for amazon widget, and some had what appeared to be code for adsense. None of them showed up in View mode. If there is a link that is text only it shows up, but it seems like if there is instruction that involves displaying something like graphics, it doesn’t show up when viewing the post. I’m planning to investigate the other blogs today and see if it’s consistent with the others. I know that some of the blogs were having displays for things like sign-up forms, the amazon widgets, etc. prior to about a week ago, but I haven’t noticed seeing things like that recently.

I’m wondering if something is causing conflict, causing it to not complete instructions that involve displays. I’m wondering if a plugin could cause this. I did install a stats plugin several days ago. I’m wondering if the stats plugin is somehow conflicting with another plugin, or something along that line.

I turned off the stats plugin on one of the blogs. it doesn’t seem to have made any difference.
