    “Sorry, I am unable to validate this document because on line 77 it contained one or more bytes that I cannot interpret as utf-8 (in other words, the bytes found are not valid values in the specified Character Encoding). Please check both the content of the file and the character encoding indication. The error was: utf8 “\x94″ does not map to Unicode”

    Where do I go to check/fix this error on my ftp?

    URL? And check dashboard, settings, reading to make sure it says UTF-8 and nothing else.

    You do have html errors starting on line 77. <div> don’t have margin attributes.

    Have you tried:

    • deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s)
    • switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems
