    Hi…

I’m using the ComicPress theme; my site is hamstertails.com. I’d like to be able to have more than one blog post visible on my home page, underneath my comic.

For whatever reason, whenever I make a new post, even just a text post with no new comic, it overwrites the comic. The comic disappears and all you see is the new post.

In settings/reading, it says “Blog page shows at most 10 pages,” and in the ComicPress config, the Blog Post Count for the home page is set at 5.

It doesn’t matter if I try to make the post using “Posts, Add New” or using the ComicPress Upload, the results are the same. The comic disappears and only the new post is visible.

Thanks for any thoughts or suggestions you may have.

    I figured it out.

In case anyone else ever has this problem (though most people here are more technically advanced than I and probably won’t have my problems!), I made a post in the blog section. In WordPress, they have this button that says “Stick this post to the front page.”

That seems to have taken care of the problem.
