URL and Directory address.

    My web address is: http://www.easy-weightloss-tips.info
    If you look at it you will see that it is is Opt In page which I transferred using FileZilla. I would like to delete this but not sure how. I don’t want to do it in FileZilla as I really don’t know what to delete.

    What I would really like to have on the web address only is contained at this address:
    http://www.easy-weightloss-tips.info/articles
    This is the address for the WordPress directory with Just Host.

    My question is: –

    If under settings in WordPress backoffice I change my Web URL to just http://www.easy-weightloss-tips.info instead of having ‘articles’ on the end like the WP directory will I get rid of the OptIn page and just have the (posts) and information I want? Or will this delete my Posts as well.

    Does that make sense? Appreciate any help.

    You want to MOVE WordPress from /articles to your main URL?

    That we can tell you how to do. http://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress

    We cannot tell you which file to delete that’s doing the optin stuff. I would GUESS you have an index.php or index.html file that does it, since there are no WordPress calls in the source, but that’s a guess.
