Plugin: Bad plugin attempt – Destination Folder Already Exist

    Had a bad 1st attempt to install a plugin – plugin file not zipped. On all subsequent attempts, with the zipped plugin file, I get the following results:
    Unpacking the package…

    Installing the plugin…

    Destination folder already exists. /home/my-ID/public_html/wp-content/plugins/plugin-filename/

    Plugin install failed.

    How can I get this entry removed so that I can install the plugin sucessfully?
