error message. tried uninstalling and reinstalling. still not working!

Your WordPress.com account, ‘accountname’ is not authorized to view the stats of this blog.

after reading many others having the same issue….I’m sure support has already heard about it. I just took someone’s suggestion and installed jetpack. that works great!
