Contact Form 7 email validation

    I’d like to add some email validation to the email text field. Kind of a PHP noob, (not programmer noob though), and not sure where to begin editing the plugin.

    Doesn’t it already have validation built-in? I just tested one of my Contact Form 7 forms with an invalid email and got:

    “Validation errors occurred. Please check the required fields and submit it again.”

    I’m with MountainDrew on this one … my form is not validating anything at all. Does it have anything to do with Akismet settings?
