[Plugin: YOURLS: WordPress to Twitter] Broken

    The plugin was working fine since March 9th, but now(March 15th) it will not authenticate with my twitter. No settings were changed, I am inputing the tokens etc just like they should be.

    Hi….Sorry for late. I had the same issue 2 days ago because it looks like Twitter is “playing” with its OAuth moving it from a place to another (happened today again)

    To fix that, you should edit in the plugin (you can do it directly from WordPress Dashboard -> Plugins -> Editor -> Select the plugin to edit -> Click underneath on “yourls-wordpress-to-twitter/inc/oauth.php” and then will appear the file “yourls-wordpress-to-twitter/inc/oauth_lib/twitterOAuth.php“. Inside this search for:

    /* Set up the API root URL */
  public static $TO_API_ROOT = "http://twitter.com";

    change with:
    `/* Set up the API root URL */
    public static $TO_API_ROOT = “http://api.twitter.com”;`

    Hope this will help you until the owner of this plugin will come with a new update 🙂
