Hi Guys, apologize if you have run in a similar post again, unfortunatelly I haven’t found a solution for this problem on the net.

I don’t know why, I don’t know how, but all my website has been deleted on my server.

There is no more any backup so I keep only the database of my old sites.

For what it concerns WP, I was wondering if is there any way to rebuild everything.

I have already tried to install the blog many time batt all the time it seems to have the same issue. The wp-admin area works great, and I can see all the post and all the tags. That is pretty good, but when I try to see online the page I see a blank page.

I suppose there is a problem with .htacces
Does enyone a tips for me?

    cheers

  • Did you reinstall the same version of WordPress that you were using when you made the database backup?

    web-delighted,

Try enabling DisplayErrors for PHP using php.ini or .htaccess file. Then access your website again and you’ll probably see the error which will lead to a solution. Also you may try to check access and error logs for your website.

    Hi guys thanks for replying

@esmi: I have reinstalled both (new version and same version) with the same issues. Don’t think it is a problem of version

@arkgroup: I was wondering if wordpress create a .htaccess file each time there is a new category.

In fact my post has the following pattern

    mydomain/category/title

for this reason the url doesn’t exist.

    what do u think?
I will try to install everything again and display the error as u suggested

WordPress creates htaccess file when you enable permalinks. Htaccess remains the same then and it doesn’t changes when you add new categories.

Please post an update after you reinstall and enable DisplayErrors.

    hi arkgroup,

I have reinstalled again wp, and all the plugin that my blog used.

Now the blog it looks the same as usual but I still have an issue that I think it concern the htaccess.

As I said, and as you confirm, url are virtuals. In other words
when you look for mydomain/category/title you don’t find the post you where looking for, but a 404 error

Is there any plugin that can recreate my htaccess?
Or is there any way to solve it?
