• I’ve been using akismet for quite some time. Recently I’ve been reading that people can access their ‘akismet folders’ for comments, like look through their spam and such. I can’t seem to find any link that would let me do that and when I typed in edit-comments.php?page=akismet-admin I was told I didn’t have enough permissions to access that page. My account is an administrator level. I think this is true for all my blogs with akismet installed,

    Any pointers?
    Asher

    There’s no Akismet folder…

    There’s /wp-admin/index.php?page=akismet-stats-display

    and /wp-admin/edit-comments.php?comment_status=spam

    and even /wp-admin/plugins.php?page=akismet-key-config

    But no akismet admin.

I see, thanks. Okay, then is it possible to see the comments akismet is flagging at all?

Have you looked in Comments > Spam?

Nothing ever shows up in spam even when Akismet is saying that’s it’s captured quite a bit of spam.

What are your checked settings in here: /wp-admin/plugins.php?page=akismet-key-config ?

I have nothing checked. This is true of all my blogs.

    On /wp-admin/index.php?page=akismet-stats-display

What is it saying for spam caught per day? Are there any listed for ‘today’? And if so, do you have anything in your spam folder?

if not, what other plugins are you running?
