Page Issues with Photocrati theme

    I deleted all of my pages and started again. The issue that I’m having is: I created a page “Home”with image slide show; when I go to the web browser I get a the theme page with the home tab at the top; I Then have to click the home tag to see the home page. In the dashboard I have no other pages so not sure why the blank page is coming up (hopefully fixable) http://motionweb.co.uk/blog/

    Also when I am on the home page it generates Home text under the logo. I would like to get rid of this and move the slide show up. But no options to do this in the dashboard. Because of previous pages that I have created this is the Permalink: http://motionweb.co.uk/blog/home-3/ If I edit this it just goes back to home-3
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi, the theme is designed to use a static page as the home page. It sound like this settings is not quite right for you. Sounds like you have a page called Home. You should also create a page called Blog. Then go to Settings > Reading, and set the home page to display a static page. Set home to Home and posts page to Blog.

    When you’ve done this, the Home page will load as home, and the URL when you click Home will just be motionweb.co.uk/blog/ (no “/home-3/”). But just so you know, you can get rid of the “-3” by going to PAGES, then at the top click the “Trash” link to see the pages that are in trash. It sounds like your previous home pages are still in the trash. Delete them completely. Then try changing the URL back to /home.

    Do you know about the generated page title below the banner, wether it is removable or change font and colour?

    When you set your Home page to Home, the “Home” title will disappear automatically. It’s set to do that. There’s currently now way to remove the titles on other pages, but we’ll be introducing a no-title page template for this purpose in the next update (4.1).

    To change the color of the title, you’ll want to go to THEME OPTIONS > CUSTOMIZE THEME > BODY and change your H2 heading font. You can adjust size, font style, and color.

    My next mission is to build the bog page. I don’t see much help pages on this. I want to build it just like the sample one. Is the archive drop down and recent posts generated by the posts? Also how do I add the Welcome to blog info and follow me logo’s and links…

    I did create a draft blog page, then went to posts created a post. However, it did not show up??

    Hi, I’m playing around with another theme lightbox is there now a way to remove the page title which show just below the banner?
