[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Error rotating image

    Hello,
    First off you rock!!! Thanks for the great plugin. This is really one of my Top 5 favorite plugins for WP of all time.

    Having an issue when trying to rotate an image. I get the following error when selecting anti-clockwise option to rotate image from the image quick link:

    Error rotating thumbnail

    I am using the latest version of the plugin as of 3/4/2011.
    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Check the plugin with the health test on the overview page

    strange… does clockwise work for you ?

    I just tried it at your request and it gives the same error. Given my time line, i simply rotated with PhotoShop the images and re-uploaded them again.

    Yeah ..I am stumped too. If you think of anything or find a solution down the road, please keep me posted.

    I am now going to go to your site and make a donation 🙂

    Just disable other plugins for a test… maybe it’s a conflict

    Disabled all plugins except NextGen and the error is still there.

    No idea.. what could be the reason. Maybe some server limitation at your side, if it’s important for you I need to debug it at your server. Contact me by mail in this case

    just worked it out, it was a permissions error on the gallery folder in the wp_content folder, it was set top 755, i changed it 775 and now the rotate image works perfectly 🙂

    hope this helps anybody else who gets stuck on this

    Hey guys. I have a problem with the rotation as well. I dont get any error messages, but if I click “rotate” the circle that shows the work progress starts, but it doesn’t come to an end.
    The plugin test shows three green marks. The permissions of the plugin folder and it’s sub-folders are set to 775.
    The deactivation of other plugins didn’t help.
    Does anyone know what to do?

    Hello everyone, I got the same error too. the image in my single_product.php is not showing when I click it, its just keep rotating without end. Please help. I have only the NextGen plugin installed in my wp-ecommerce site.

    I got my folder set to 777 but still the image keeps loading forever when I click them.
