This has happened in the admin on one of my blogs so I will have a look and see if I can get an answer and respond. The article at http://en.support.wordpress.com/sharing/ is fairly unhelpful!
Yes it is…however, I can’t go any further till I get the “sharing” tab to appear…LOL

Is there any info of whether the ‘Sharing’ tools will be implemented in a future wordpress.org update? Are the ‘sharing’ tools on wordpress.com available as a plugin for wordpress.org? (I know wordpress.org has various sharing tool plugins, but from reading the description of the new ‘sharing’ tools in wordpress.com, I can testify that they don’t compare). Any info is appreciated.

Missed that, I was looking all over and ended up on .com in error. I can’t see ‘sharing’ in WP5.1 wp-admin/menu.php – so is this a plugin?
Sorry sshould have re-read before posting – I meant was there a plugin that does sharing that wasn’t being mentioned in the original post.
I am trying to add the Facebook. I was using the instructions found in the linc below:

but was stopped when the drop down menu in 3.1 does not show the tab “Sharing”.
