More posts from archive?

I have “7 days” as my default setting in WordPress. But. I want the “7 days” setting to apply to the frontpage only, and show all posts in the archive.

Eg:
http://foo.bar/
** This URL should show the “7 days”.

http://foo.bar/2004/
http://foo.bar/2004/07/
http://foo.bar/archive/html/
http://foo.bar/archive/html/tips/
** This URLs should show all pages in the “date” or “category”.

Anyway to do this?
