Have you added any plugins yet?
if so try:
– resetting the plugins folder by FTP or whatever file management application your host provides. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
Have you activated a new theme yet.
if so try:
– switching to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.
Thanks for the help, but this is my new installation..Actually, a month before I installed wordpress, then unistalled later installed joomla, then uninstalled joomla as well, and now i am back to wordpress..I tried re-installing also..but no solution..please help 🙁
did you reset the plugin folder and switched to the default theme? Did this make any difference?
try also:
– re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress?
I didnt installed any plugins..just did a fresh install of wordpress..and as per the given instructions when I went to reset the plugin there is no active_plugin in my phpMyadmin.. I installed directly using fantastico deluxe..
Maybe you should try a manual update of a fresh download with FTP
Thanks again.. Will try that
