• It is advantageous to be able to take a posting and email it to the site’s account at posterous.com for propogation to other Web 2.0 properties.

    The plugin is broken in the sense that you cannot reasonably establish the FROM: email address that the mailing should come from.

    In my case, the email is sent from the default email address of the domain. If this is not the posting address for Posterous, you get a notice that the message came from a different address and Posterous asks you to verify it. Unfortunately, what posterous gets is someone else’s posterous account.

    If the plugin allowed you to store 2 values:

    FROM email address
    TO email address,

    it would be extremely useful.
