Do you want your blog to be shown on your main page? Or a static page? Or just shorten the blog postings to a summary?
Go to Setting=>Reading and change what you want there.
Otherwise it looks like you’ll have to mess around with the theme, but I think those settings above should work for what you wand them to.
I think your main page already have the title and date. only you want to show the read more link, Read these pages for more information

Amit_K yes it is what I want but on the /blog index page not on my design.. still cant figure it out where to make those modifications.
Try modifying your theme’s index.php template file.
