Java Problem

    After having had trouble with my Java installation over time, I decided to remove it and start over again. Trouble was, Java could not be found in the Control Panel in Add or Remove Programs. I went to Programs and found Java not there as a separate entry. I finally found it in Common Files. I tried to delete Java from the Java/Update folder, but one of the files would not be deleted. Now I find several Java files have returned to the Java/Update folder.

    How do I fix Java?
