• Hi Woodent,

Again, thanks for the plugin. Our clients love what it’s doing on their site.

I discovered that the fade effect isn’t displaying well on Mobile Safari on the iPhone. Basically – the first panel displays fine, then fades out fine, but the next (and every subsequent animation after that) does something weird with the images. The second slide’s image ‘blips’ in then disappears. Then in the next transition, it blips back, then the next slide appears with the title (causing the previous slide to just disappear), the image for the next slide fades in then fades out.

    So:

Slide 2 Displaying with no image

Just before Slide 3, Slide 2’s image blips in, then disappears

Slide 3’s title shows, slide 3’s image fades in then fades out.

Slide 3 displaying with no image.

Just before Slide 4, Slide 3’s image blips in, then disappears

Slide 4 title shows, slide 3’s image fades in then fades out.

You can see it here: http://trailtail.com/wordpress/
(has to be on the iPhone for the effect to occur)
Two of the panels currently use the same image.

I installed a fresh slider on a test site, and it has the same behaviour – well: it doesn’t autoslide for some reason, but if you use the thumb nav, or the arrow nav, the images in the promo appear to do the same thing.

Again: this is all on the iPhone through Mobile Safari. Everywhere else everything seems to work as expected.

Found a few hits on jQuery forum and Stack Overflow about the jQuery fadein() effect, but nothing seemed to quite match up.

I’m going to try and trouble shoot it, but I figured I’d post in case you or anyone else was curious.

    Cheers!
    Chris
