Hi, I’d like to know how I can sync prices between your plug in and my booking.com or other OTAs. Thank you

    Hi,
Unfortunately, this isn’t possible—neither Booking.com nor Airbnb allows you to download pricing data; they only allow you to download booking dates.

Excuse me, but you clearly stated that it’s a channel manager, and channel managers are supposed to sync prices across OTAs! So, did I just waste my time setting up the entire plugin for nothing??

Unfortunately, I’m trying to access booking.com and airbnb.com, but they won’t let me. Once they give me access, it’ll be a full-fledged channel manager. The plugin is completely free, but this is the only thing I can’t control 🙁 and it’s not my fault that they didn’t give me access

I appreciate that it’s free but I downloaded your plugin because I was interested in this feature…. . You advertise it as a channel manager but your plugin Vachr is NOT a channel manager, it can’t even sync prices with OTAs.. MAybe it’s my fault for not checking before setting everything up

Honestly, in many ways it’s a channel manager, but synchronization is done via iCal. I don’t think you need a direct connection to Booking and Airbnb. I own properties myself and don’t need any of that—I developed it for myself. Since I’ve had it, managing my properties has been almost effortless.

But if you want—and maybe others do too—we can push Booking.com and the others to give us direct access to their APIs, but I doubt they’ll want to do that, because I’m capable of ruining their business.

Very soon, I want to create my own portal—something like Booking.com—for those who have my plugin, and even other platforms, where your property will be listed, and I won’t charge more than 12% like Booking does. It’ll be a little less than 3% to cover server costs.
