    Hi,

We would like to know if this plugin has the option to ‘import/pull’ the customers’ name from a payment. For example, the plugin currently displays the following in the order notes:

    Order charge successful in Stripe.
    Charge: ch_number
    Payment Method: details

And we would like it to state the customer name below it, so we can quickly check if the payer’s name is the same name as the name connected to the shipping address. Is that possible with this plugin?
    Thank you in advance!

    Hi @contextquestion

Thank you for contacting Payment Plugins.

Does the customer name have to be in the same order note or can it be a separate order note? Right now a filter doesn’t exist that allow that existing order note to be modified. However, we could add that filter in the next release.

If the customer name can be in a separate note then you could use the action wc_stripe_order_payment_complete.

Another option is to use the filter woocommerce_new_order_note_data which is provided by WooCommerce. That filter receives the comment data array and would allow you to modify the existing note.

    Kind Regards

    Dear @mrclayton

It would be great if it could be in the same message. It would be amazing if you could add that in the next release! Thank you for your effort 😀

I’ll look into those other two options to see if I can temporarily use those. Thank you for the suggestions!

    Kind regards
