Excellent Find & Replace Plugin with Outstanding Developer Support

I’m using Quick Find & Replace for the final editorial work on a large (2,250 page) book manuscript simultaneously available on a WordPress website, including 365 Daily Lessons maintained as a custom post type.

I spent hours working with multiple AI platforms looking for a WP plugin that would allow me to complete this multiyear project, personally testing out several plugins to see if the functionality needed was really there. Finally I found the Quick Find & Replace plugin, which provides exactly the kind of functionality I’ve been looking for: the ability to find individual occurrences of words or phrases and replace them selectively, rather than making global replacements that I can’t see or control on an individual case by case basis as I can do with the book manuscript in Word and Sigil. Quick Find & Replace is straightforward, intuitive, and extremely useful for careful proofreading and editorial work within any given block of text.

Initially, the plugin worked beautifully in ordinary WordPress pages but wasn’t appearing in my Daily Lessons editor, where I needed it most. I contacted the developer, Tommy Hansen, who responded amazingly quickly and personably and provided a simple PHP snippet that enabled the plugin for my custom post type. The solution worked perfectly!

It’s refreshing to find a plugin that does its job so well, especially when it’s backed by a developer who is genuinely responsive and helpful.

Highly recommended!
