SCAM Renewals
-
Absolutely horrible experience. You sign up to try their plugin, only to discover it doesn’t even accomplish what you need it to do. Fine, lesson learned. Or so you think.
Fast-forward a year, and suddenly you’re being charged for another subscription through PayPal. They claim they sent a renewal notice, but funny enough, there’s absolutely no record of it. My email is hosted on Microsoft 365, and I’ve checked everything, including quarantine. Nothing.
When I tried to discuss the charge, I was met with nothing but references to their “terms and conditions.” No attempt to resolve the issue, no understanding, no customer service whatsoever.
Then, to add insult to injury, I followed their link to cancel the subscription, and THE CANCELLATION FORM DOESN’T EVEN WORK! How convenient.
Somehow, PayPal ruled the dispute in their favor, so now I’m stuck paying for another year of a 50-site license for a product that is completely useless to me.
A useless plugin, questionable renewal practices, a broken cancellation process, and absolutely atrocious customer service.
I feel completely ripped off. This has been one of the worst customer experiences I’ve had, and I’m furious that a company can operate this way and still get away with keeping my money.
Buyer beware. I wouldn’t recommend this product or this company to anyone.
