Smart, but sticky

This plugin enables a lot of really smart things like a top CDN, the excellent Bunny Shield, Offloading media to Bunny Storage and Bunny Stream videos (including a block and direct uploading no Bunny Dashboard access necessary)… but at least in my short experience some of those things are too sticky for my liking.

In my tests it took only a few minutes of all of these services being enabled for a persistent 504 Gateway Timeout to show up; probably my hosters firewall not liking something Bunny Offloader was doing. Trying to turn off Shield or Storage after that turns into an exercise in frustration, as both apparently are not supposed to ever be disabled again – in the words of Bunny tech support: “Once turned on, it cannot effectively be turned off.”

Excellent stuff if and when it works no doubt, but too involved for my liking.
