• Hi,
Since the last update, I have been receiving this error message and cannot access the plugin:

Required database tables are not created for Cart Abandonment Recovery for WooCommerce plugin. Please make sure that the database user has the REFERENCES privilege to create tables.

    What should I do?
    Thanks!

    Hi,

Thank you all for reporting this and sharing the details.

Our team looked into it right away and quickly released a fix in version 2.2.1. It resolves the “REFERENCES privilege” notice and the missing Cart Abandonment menu that some sites with older database setups were seeing.

If you don’t see the update in your dashboard yet: WordPress.org can take a few hours to show a new version as an update on every site. To skip the wait, you can install it manually:

    1. Download version 2.2.1 here: https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/woo-cart-abandonment-recovery.2.2.1.zip
    2. In your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New Plugin and click Upload Plugin.
    3. Choose the zip file and click Install Now.
    4. When WordPress asks, click Replace current with uploaded.
    5. If you deactivated the plugin earlier, activate it again.

After the update, the notice should go away and the WooCommerce > Cart Abandonment menu should be back. Your existing abandoned carts, email templates and settings are kept, so there’s no need to delete or reinstall the plugin. This also applies if you rolled back to 2.1.4.

If anything still doesn’t look right after updating, please let us know here.
