Forum image embed issue – invalid data URI

    When adding images through forum block editor by copy pasting, the image can get invalid data URI, and image fails to load. In these cases, it seems that the “data:” part of the URI is missing.

    Happened to me when I reported style issue with plugin: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/floating-cookie-buttons-icon-looks-small-with-some-themes/

    If the message of the report is inspected, there is a “wp-block-paragraph” element with embedded image like this:

    <img src=”image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGg…

    The correct URI should start with “data:”, i.e.

    <img src=”data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGg…

    Testing if it happens again here too:
