Recently I can’t change or add HTML on my WordPress site using Beaver Builder.
When I edit in Beaver Builder it says ‘The Layout is currently being saved‘ and then hangs when trying to update. I am using Beaver Builder Lite Version 2.11.0.6. My site is https://www.weathermike.com

Any recent updates that would cause this?

Hi Mike,

Sorry to hear you are having trouble. That sounds like some sort of conflict is going on. A few questions:

1) What mode are you entering HTML into?

2) Is it any module or just certain code that you are adding? If it’s certain code, can you supply that here?

3) Can you please check if the same thing occurs with all plugins disabled except BB Lite? https://docs.wpbeaverbuilder.com/beaver-builder/troubleshooting/debugging/plugin-conflicts/

4) Similarly, it could be a theme conflict. After you do #3, can you also test for a theme conflict: https://docs.wpbeaverbuilder.com/beaver-builder/troubleshooting/debugging/theme-conflict

One more thing for you to try is to enable the Mod Security fix temporarily and try again.

You’ll find that on the WP Admin > Settings > Beaver Builder > Advanced

Toggle it in, wait a few minutes and then try your changes again in case Mod Security is blocking it. If that resolves it, let us know and we can provide further advice there.
