Divi 5 Compatibility

Any forecast about Divi 5 full compatibility?

Hi @giac ,
Thanks for your question. I’ll check with our technical team regarding the current status for full Divi 5 compatibility.
I’ll get back to you with an update within 24 hours.
Thanks for your patience!
Hello @giac,
Thanks for your patience and efforts.
FileBird Document Library doesn’t currently support a Divi module, but you can create a shortcode and insert it instead, it will work just fine. Hope that could help.
Best regards,
MiaThe only way to show the documents library is to insert the shortcode in the classic editor, tried with divi5 text and code modules, no joy. Also, just apparently activating the plugin it breaks some other code modules used on the same page where the shortcode is inserted.
Hi @giac,
We appreciate your patience, please install this updated version and test it again.

It works on in preview mode…Hi @giac ,
Sorry, I don’t get what you mean exactly?
Can you record a short screencast to show the issue you are talking about, please?
Regards
I’m reporting a reproducible JavaScript conflict caused by FileBird Document Library Lite on my WordPress site. I’ve isolated the issue and I’d like your help to resolve it.
The problem:
When FileBird Document Library Lite is active, video players embedded in certain posts do not render on published posts, but they do render correctly when the same post is in draft status. The same video works fine on other pages of the site. This behavior is the classic signature of a JavaScript conflict that only manifests when SiteGround Optimizer processes the page (minification and/or combination of JS files). On drafts, WordPress serves unprocessed JS and the player works; on published posts, the optimized JS bundle breaks the player.
Root cause hypothesis:
FileBird Document Library Lite appears to enqueue its JavaScript and CSS assets on every page of the site, not only on pages that actually contain the plugin’s shortcode. This causes two problems:- Asset bloat: unnecessary JS/CSS loaded site-wide, degrading performance.
- JS bundle conflict: when SG Optimizer combines and minifies all enqueued scripts, the FileBird Document scripts interfere with the execution order or namespace of the video player’s scripts, breaking them.
What I’ve already verified:
- Disabling “Minify JavaScript” in SG Optimizer resolves the issue, confirming the conflict is JS-related.
- The problem is specific to FileBird Document Library Lite: deactivating it also resolves the issue.
- FileBird Pro (the main plugin) does not cause this problem.
Hi @giac ,
Thanks for the added details, we will check and get back to you soon.
Hello @giac,
Thank you for the detailed report and for isolating the issue.
We tried to reproduce it on our test site with FileBird Document Library Lite, Divi 5 and SiteGround Speed Optimizer. We published a page with Divi 5 Video modules (YouTube and a self-hosted MP4) and viewed it logged out.
First we had only Minify JavaScript enabled, then Minify, Combine and Defer together. In both cases the videos rendered correctly and there were no JavaScript errors in the console.
You are right that the plugin currently loads its assets on every page, including pages without the shortcode. We will change that so the scripts and styles only load where the Document Library is actually used.
To find the exact cause on your site, could you please help us with the following?- The URL of a page where the video doesn’t render, with Minify JavaScript turned back on, if the site is publicly accessible.
- A screenshot of the browser console (F12 → Console) on that page while you are logged out and the video doesn’t show.
- The type of video: YouTube, Vimeo or a self-hosted MP4 file? Is it added with the Divi 5 Video module, the Video Slider module, or another player plugin or embed?
- Your Speed Optimizer settings under Frontend → JavaScript (Minify, Combine, Defer) and under Frontend → CSS / General, including any exclusions you have added.
- Version numbers of WordPress, Divi, FileBird, FileBird Document Library Lite and Speed Optimizer, plus any other caching or optimization plugins you use (e.g. a CDN or Cloudflare).
- Where the Document Library shortcode is used: is it on the same page as the video, or on a different page?
