Hi Earl_D,
Sebastian here, I hope you are doing well. Good question, and yes, that is correct: the older option to restrict VideoPress playback to a whitelist of specific domains has been removed. It is not available in the current version of VideoPress.
Today, the available privacy options for a VideoPress video are Site Default, Public, or Private, with Private limiting viewing to members of your site rather than to specific domains. You can see the full details here: https://jetpack.com/support/jetpack-videopress/video-privacy/
If your goal is mainly to control where a video can be embedded or watched, member-only Private access is the closest option currently available, even though it is access-based rather than domain-based. Happy to go over how to set that up if it would help for your use case.
Warm regards,

The privacy option definitely doesn’t do what I need 🙁 I highly encourage developers to consider adding it back.

Hi @earl_d, we’d be happy to relay feedback to our product team. To better understand what you need, could you tell us more on what you’re looking to achieve, if the Privacy option doesn’t work, have you considered restricting access based with a membership model? Or are there reasons that wouldn’t work for you?
