Create a logout page

UsersWP provides the option to add a logout link to a navigation menu, but it does not provide a dedicated logout page with confirmation buttons or the option to add the logout link inside a page content.

The usual WordPress and web design convention is simply to provide a “Log out” link, which logs the user out directly.

A separate page asking the user to confirm whether they want to log out is not normally part of the logout flow and would be seen as cumbersome by users.

That said, since you are using Avada, there may be a workaround using its page builder. For example, you could create a separate navigation menu containing Avada’s special “Log Out” menu item and then display that menu inside a page using an Avada navigation element: https://classic.avada.com/documentation/avada-special-menu-items/#toc_Log_Out

However, Avada Support would need to confirm whether this can be implemented exactly as you described.

Another option would be to create your own buttons and use a URL such as: /wp-login.php?action=logout.

However, WordPress will then display its own confirmation page asking the user to confirm the logout.

This would turn logout into a three-step process, so from a UX perspective, I would not recommend it.

The simplest and most standard solution would be to use the UsersWP logout link directly in your navigation menu.
