Site will not upgrade beyond 6.5.2. Site consistently state WP is up to date.Plugins like Elementor Pro need updated WP to update. Any suggestions are appreciated.

What errors are in your logs? Look at both the system-generated PHP logs and wordpress’ own debug.log

After trying multiple paths I manually updated WP using a downloaded version of 7.11. After that I was able to update the necessary plugins. Thank all of you for your suggestions.
