• the list shortcode returns invalid json. it returns the html for the nonce before the json object for some reason when saving:

    <input type=”hidden” id=”_do_prayer_nonce” name=”_do_prayer_nonce” value=”39129a015d”/><input type=”hidden” name=”_wp_http_referer” value=”/wp-json/wp/v2/pages/2670?_locale=user”/><input type=”hidden” id=”_pray_response_nonce” name=”_pray_response_nonce” value=”854ea96863″/><input type=”hidden” name=”_wp_http_referer” value=”/wp-json/wp/v2/pages/2670?_locale=user”/><input type=”hidden” id=”_do_prayer_nonce” name=”_do_prayer_nonce” value=”39129a015d”/><input type=”hidden” name=”_wp_http_referer” value=”/wp-json/wp/v2/pages/2670?_locale=user”/><input type=”hidden” id=”_pray_response_nonce” name=”_pray_response_nonce” value=”854ea96863″/><input type=”hidden” name=”_wp_http_referer” value=”/wp-json/wp/v2/pages/2670?_locale=user”/>{
        “id”: 2670,
        “date”: “2026-04-27T08:06:35”,
        “date_gmt”: “2026-04-27T15:06:35”,
        “guid”: {
    …

    all that html shouldn’t be there. the form shortcode returns perfectly fine json.

    Hello,

    The shortcode is being rendered while WordPress is processing the REST request, a filter or another plugin attached to WordPress content/title rendering may be injecting those nonce fields.

    The list shortcode may be coming from another plugin, and GoPray is triggering that output while the wall is being rendered.

    I modify the GoPray ZIP to make the wall shortcode much safer during REST/editor requests and also trace exactly where that unwanted output is coming from.

    The fix is specifically targeted at the prayer-wall/list shortcode and the unwanted HTML being injected into the REST JSON response.

    Please update to version 0.5

    Thank you
