Draft course and lessons

    Hello dear Masteriyo support

    In the latest version, previewing the draft course and its sections is working well, but the draft lessons of that course are not shown to me as the admina nd instructor of the site.

    Hi @derlehre ,

    Thanks for the report you’re not doing anything wrong, and I can reproduce it.

    The curriculum list on the course page only ever shows published lessons, so a draft lesson never appears there. That’s why you see the section but nothing inside it.

    Two ways to see your draft lessons in the meantime:

    1. Open the lesson in the course builder and use the Preview button on that lesson. It works even while the lesson is a draft.
    2. Preview the course itself and go to the lesson view. The lesson sidebar there does list draft lessons, marked with a DRAFT label, as long as you’re logged in with permission to edit the course.

    So the content is previewable; it just isn’t listed in the curriculum on the course page, which is the gap you’ve hit.
