When I start the translation, a huge number of admin-ajax.php calls are made, causing my shared hosting to block my ip. How can this behavior be fixed? See the embedded video…
    Thanks.

800 wp-admin/admin-ajax.php calls every time I start the translation.

    Hello,

TranslatePress normally uses its own trp-ajax.php endpoint for its AJAX requests, as this endpoint is optimized for TranslatePress and is faster than the standard WordPress admin-ajax.php endpoint.

However, the requests shown in your logs are going through admin-ajax.php. This may indicate that the trp-ajax.php endpoint is being blocked or otherwise prevented from working correctly, causing TranslatePress to fall back to the standard WordPress AJAX endpoint.

Could you please check whether you have any custom code, security rules, firewall settings, or security plugins that might be blocking or disabling trp-ajax.php?

It would also be useful to ask your hosting provider to investigate whether requests to trp-ajax.php are being blocked, restricted, or redirected on the server side.

As an additional step, we recommend performing a compatibility test by temporarily disabling the other plugins and switching to a default WordPress theme, while keeping TranslatePress active. You can then check whether the same requests are still being generated through admin-ajax.php. If the issue disappears, you can re-enable the plugins one by one to identify whether a specific plugin or theme is causing the conflict.

    Best Regards,
