• I had a situation where I had to suspend a member but later on, I needed to unsuspend the member. I clicked the button to unsuspend the member and everything looked fine from the backend and even the frontend where the user was appearing in searches and listings. The member contacted me and said that his account was blocked and he sent a screen shot that showed a 404 error, “Page not found”. I was able to change his password with his permission and whenever I tried to log in to his account, it showed the page not found, although it said the member was logged in. The member could not access his profile, messages or anything else to do with his profile. I started troubleshooting and deactivated several plugins. As soon as I deactivated the BSR plugin, the member’s profile immediately showed and the member had access to profile, messages and everything associated with his profile. I activated all other plugins, but as soon as I activated BSR, it showed page not found for the member’s profile. I deactivated and deleted the plugin and re-installed the plugin from the repository, but nothing changed. No one else is having any issues with their profiles and the only thing that is different to everyone else is the fact that we suspended the account and unsuspended it again. It seems to me that the suspend action has flagged something in this particular account, but unsuspending, has not cleared the flag and it’s treating this member as still being suspended. I have deactivated BSR for the present. Have you ever come across this issue, or could you recommend a workaround that might clear any flags that the plugin may have set? All the best, Steve.

    Hey @avonrivercs,

I’ve not had a report of this before unfortunately. If this happens to every user you suspend and unsuspend, please let me know if there are any errors in the PHP logs or in browser console. If this has only happened one time to the user you stated, it may be ‘stuck’. Although I’m not sure how that could even happen! The quickest way to resolve would be a manual database edit, but only if you are comfortable with that technique.

    Best,

    Ben Roberts
