    Hello,

    We have identified what appears to be a version-specific issue with Google Pay.

    • Plugin version 3.3.108: Apple Pay and Google Pay both display correctly on the cart and checkout pages.
    • Plugin version 4.0.11: Apple Pay displays correctly, but Google Pay does not appear, even though it is enabled.
    • Reverting back to 3.3.108 immediately restores Google Pay functionality with no additional changes.

    Can you confirm whether version 4.0.11 requires any new settings or configuration changes for Google Pay? If this is a known issue, please let us know if there is a recommended fix or workaround.

    Hi @jam3012

    Thank you for contacting Payment Plugins. Per the release notes on our plugin documentation site, https://paymentplugins.com/documentation/stripe/releases/4.0.0/, there have been some improvements to Google Pay.

    It sounds like Google Pay is not enabled within the Stripe account. You will need to login to stripe.com > settings > payments and click the “Payment Plugins” payment method configuration. On that page you should see an option to enable Google Pay.

    Versions 4.0.0+ no longer require a Google merchant ID or the Google API approval process.

    Your site was reviewed and Google Pay is rendering on your checkout page so it looks like you were able to enable Google Pay in the stripe.com dashboard.
